I’ve been dancing with silhouettes
Eyes wide open marionettes
The glow is trimmed but sees her best
Climbing high to reach the nest
Half filled oceans claim the weened
The darkest waters you’ve ever seen
Once a mystical shade of blue
Slowly formed a midnight hue
How do I fight who haughtily faced me
Shook me to crumbs and angered so hasty
A distant chuckle I hear and I wonder
An answer that follows excites me like thunder
The lights that create are deemed a danger
We’ve grown to see it beyond a stranger
My creases are deep and I cry for no worry
It took me a lifetime to be in no hurry
