Human

Show me the nature

From which all is derived

We owe you a curtsy

For being alive

A death driven body

Who houses a soul

A soul everlasting

She exceeds her known role

We wake as if vacant

And sleep for a dream

The eyes cannot process

But what the world may seem

Carry me, glory, through a benevolent stream

In awe of your beauty

Enticed by your gleam

I lay down my follies

I bury my vice

The exchange of this gift

Comes at such a small price
